It is time to vote on new PTA officers for the 2009-2010 school year.
Nominations took place at the March PTA meeting. If there are any other
nominations, they must be emailed to the PTA website
riderpresident@yahoo.com
and be received prior to the April 13th PTA meeting. Elections will take
place at the April 13th meeting. These are the nominations so far for
next year's officers:
President - Shawn Grommon (current President)
Vice President - Lisa Dlouhy (new)
Secretary - Shellie Pike (new)
Treasurer/Membership - Lori Jencks (current Vice President)
As a PTA for Roosevelt Middle School, our goal is to
promote, through educational opportunities and activities, community building
through a sense of belonging among students, parents, and staff.
The PTA serves as a communication link between home and school.
We encourage all families to get involved in PTA and their child’s
education. Membership is always open
and the cost is $5.00 per person. Applications
are available in the school office or you can attend our monthly meetings and
join there.
